We Help the Community Locally, and Abroad

Giving back is important to us. We give back locally by supporting our city with TOY MOUNTAIN, our local community with Friends of McCormick Park, and internationally, by supporting disaster relief charity.

Toy Mountain:

On Saturday December 10th, 2016, a special screening of A Christmas Story happened at Toronto’s historic Revue Cinema. This classic movie was filmed here in Toronto in 1983, and is centred around a young boy in the 1940s named Ralphie and his seemingly fruitless attempts to convince his parents, his teacher, and Santa that a Red Ryder B.B. gun really is the perfect Christmas gift.

Attendees brought an unused, unwrapped toy as donations to TOY MOUNTAIN – a special charity partnership between CTV Toronto and The Salvation Army.

A SPECIAL GUEST from the original cast was in attendance for a Q&A: Tedde Moore, who played the Genie-nominated Miss Shields! We were honoured to have Tedde as a part of the event.

Friends of McCormick Park

Friends of McCormick Park are a small group of residents in the Brockton Village area who have come together in honour of advocating for McCormick Park. Their Adopt-A-Tree program allows for the maintenance of newly planted trees to stay alive throughout their first few years of life when they are the most fragile.

How We Help

Trust Realty Group lends a helping hand by donating our office space for event planning and providing our staff members to help support events; including graphic design for their annual fall event: McCormick Park Festival.

Some of the projects this organization is currently working on include: building a new playground; a cafe in the park, and solving problems related to vandalism, off-leash dogs, and other safety concerns for the neighbourhood.
